Citizen Home Teachers (Group Home)
As Citizen (Group) Home Teachers, successful candidates will oversee much of the day-to-day activities in a Citizen home. Applicants must be mission orientated individuals that have a desire to serve God by providing a nurturing environment for our population. We prefer to have applicants with experience in a residential group home or extended direct care environment, specifically working with the elderly or those with disabilities. Applicants with supervisory or management background is also preferred. This is a full-time position that includes benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and on-site living quarters.
Weekend Citizen Home Teacher (Respite)
The Brookwood Community is currently accepting applications for a Weekend Respite to work Friday afternoon through Sunday evening supervising the weekend activities in one of our Citizen homes. Respites will be required to “live-in” the home from Friday to Sunday. Ideal candidates will have experience in a residential group home or in direct care, especially working with the elderly or those with special needs. Applicants must be mission orientated individuals that have a desire to serve God by providing a nurturing environment for our population. Applicants with supervisory/management background is preferred. Benefits include competitive salary, insurance, paid time off, and living quarters for the weekend.
Direct Support Professionals
The Brookwood Community is currently accepting applications for Direct Support Professionals in providing direct care to our wonderful Citizens. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to human service, be compassionate, have a willingness to learn, and be a team player. Previous experience in nursing homes or home healthcare is helpful, but not required. We have full time and part time positions available. Candidates must meet all health requirements, including TB test, and pass background and driving checks.

Trinity Baptist Church is opening a faith and play based, Mother’s Day Out program fall of 2021. All classes will have two teachers who will be working together as a team.
