Katy Speech and Language is seeking an Office Manager for an expanding private, pediatric speech pathology practice. Applicants must be detail oriented and independent. You will receive training on how to verify benefits, submit claims, and work with insurance for speech therapy.
Hours:
This position requires the office manager to work in the Katy clinic, 8:30-5:30 Monday-Thursday, and Fridays 8:30-12:30.
This position is full time, with PTO and 401k.
Job Responsibilities Include:
* Verify insurance benefits-deductibles, out of pocket expenses, co-payments and percentage payable
* Interact with patients between both clinics
* Follow up on missed claims
* Submit claims
* Demonstrates competency working in an EMR system.
* Fax assessments
* Answer phone calls/complete phone intake forms?* Adjust patient’s balances after claims are received
* Adhere to HIPAA
* Ability to work between two locations
* Demonstrate competency while working in google docs
* Run errands as needed
* Ensure office is running smoothly and sanitize as needed
