Bridgeland’s Nature Fest

American wildlife biologist and nature conservationist Jeff Corwin of Animal Planet’s “The Jeff Corwin Experience” will host this epic family events. Help them celebrate 10 years, and come out to see the Great American Duck Race, rides from the Austin Bike Zoo, armadillo races, and more. There will also be a petting zoo, crocodile encounters, inflatable zone, arts and crafts, food trucks, and interactive drum performance, and a farmer’s market. Visit bridgeland.com.

Central Green Park 4th Birthday Bash

Celebrate 4 years of educational fun on the green with a magical, free evening. Classic Rock Battle of the Bands

International Art Festival & Cinco De Mayo Celebration

Join them for a whole day of indoor and outdoor events including visual and performing artists who will be showcasing their diverse talents. The Festival will include a joyous Cinco de Mayo Celebratory Performance with multi-cultural singers and dancers from the Greater Houston and Katy area starting in the Theater at 6pm.The art festival is open to the public. Tickets for the performance at 6pm are $15. Food Trucks, refreshments, and Wine will be available.

Katy ISD Summer Band Camp

Monday, July 10 – Friday, July 14, 2017

Katy ISD invites band students in seventh through ninth grade to participate in their summer band camp. The camp will include daily section rehearsals, full band rehearsals, and fun music based electives. Lunch is also part of the camp. The cost of the camp is $130 and will include a t-shirt if registered by June 5th. All registrations after that date will need to include a late registration fee of $25 totaling $155. All registrations must be postmarked by Friday, June 23rd. The camp concludes with the Grand Finale Concert on Friday morning at 9am. After the concert, those students wishing to extend the fun a little longer can join in the group’s optional trip to Typhoon Texas for an additional $35 (park admission, meal, bus transportation, and drinks are included in price) for a total camp cost of $165.
