Celebrate the Season with Lone Star Symphonic Band

December 16th, 2018 4pm

Holy Covenant United Methodist Church, located at 22111 Morton Road

The Lone Star Symphonic Band will perform four more concerts this season (12/16, 3/3, 5/5, and 6/30).  All concerts will be held at Holy Covenant United Methodist Church, located at 22111 Morton Road, Katy, TX.  Concerts begin at 4:00 pm, and doors to seating open at 3:00pm. On December 16th, 2018, the Lone Star Symphonic Band will celebrate the holiday season with the concert entitled, “Great is the Glory”.  Pieces to be performed include “Festival Fanfare for Christmas,” “Sleigh Ride,” “Festival of Light,” “Old Scottish Melody,” “Fantasia on a 13th Century Carol,” and many other beloved holiday pieces.Tickets can be purchased online for $7 here.

Fort Bend Symphony Orchestra’s “Deck the Halls”

Sunday, December 2, at 2 p.m. in the Stafford Centre.

“Deck the Halls” is the Fort Bend Symphony Orchestra’s most popular concert of the year.  Many Fort Bend families make this an annual part of their holiday traditions.  This year’s celebration by the Fort Bend Symphony Orchestra and Chorus is   All of FBSO’s concerts are family-friendly, and those of all ages will enjoy this year’s theme of “Home for the Holidays”. More details available about the concert are available at www.fbso.org, as well as ticket pricing information.  Single tickets begin at $15 for adults.  Children 12 and under are $5 each, and teens are $10 per ticket.  Discounts are available for college students, seniors 55 and over, military personnel, and groups of 10 or more.  Tickets are available online at www.fbso.org or by calling 281.276.9642.
