April Pool’s Day is a program designed to prevent drownings by inspiring young children to take water safety seriously. Both children and adults will learn about the hazards associated with water and how to deal with them safely. Gift bags will be given to the first 200 children that visit all the demonstrations. Meet the Chick-fil-A Cow, Bobber the Water Safety Dog, and Jose the Otter! Free and open to the public. Anyone who has small children or is expecting is encouraged to attend. Bridgeland’s Nature Fest

American wildlife biologist and nature conservationist Jeff Corwin of Animal Planet’s “The Jeff Corwin Experience” will host this epic family events. Families with children of all abilities are invited to participate in this event. The run will include both a 1K and 3K course. Those needing walkers and wheelchairs are welcome. All participants will receive an award. The race will take place rain or shine. For safety reasons, dogs, wagons, bikes, skates and roller blades are not allowed on the race course. Texas High School Lacrosse League State Championship Tournament

Seven Lakes Lacrosse has been selected to host the 2017 lacrosse tournament. The championship will bring four teams in both Division I and Division II from across Texas and is the marquee event on the Texas High School Lacrosse League calendar.
