This summer, moms and dads all over Katy will be hearing the familiar phrase, "I'm bored!" Luckily, there are tons of camps, classes and programs for summer fun right here in Katy! We are so fortunate to have a multitude of Day Camps and Vacation Bible Schools, as well as many wonderful Sleep away Camps just hours from here.

DAY CAMPS!
From gymnastics to Karate, from tennis to dance, Katy has just about every kind of summer day camp one can imagine. We've compiled a list of some of the best-known area day camps that may still have space available for your Katy kid.

Adamson Ballet School

Adamson Ballet is a well-established Katy tradition. They offer summer dance camps and classes for drill team, ballet and jazz. Dance programs for age three all the way through twelfth grade.

Each summer the City of Katy offers wonderful FREE summer activities for all Katy kids! A variety of sports and recreation activities are available. Camps are held at local parks. Contact the City of Katy Recreation Program for a schedule of events.

Kid Fit Sports Camp

Kid Fit Sports Camp is a Christian based program, which has been in business in the Katy community for 15+ years. Day campers at Kid Fit go on field trips every day: swimming twice a week, roller-skating and pizza once a week, Baskin Robbins weekly Kid Fit Kids also learn Tae Kwon Do twice a week. Campers may sign up for 1-10 weeks.

Lifetime Fitness- Adventure Days

Lifetime's Adventure Days summer camp offers fun and weekly field trips for kids ages 6-12. Campers take trips to the zoo, Adventure Land Pizza, Ice Skating, and more. Fee includes field trip costs and snack. Many other camps and summer programs are available. Open to members and nonmembers.

SLEEP AWAY CAMPS!
Sleep away camps provide children with the opportunity to spend some time away from home, gain some confidence and independence skills and have tons of fun! There are many sleep away camps just hours from here, which serve a variety of interests.

Camp Broncho is a summer camp located in San Antonio, Texas for children with moderate to severe asthma are held each year in Dallas/Fort Worth, San Antonio, El Paso, Tyler, and Harlingen. The camps provide challenging opportunities in a medically safe and educationally supportive environment to children affected by asthma and who may not otherwise attend summer camps. This camp in the Texas Hill Country provides a wide range of overnight camping experiences for children with special needs who are not eligible for other camps due to severity of the child's condition and their siblings. Respite weekends during the year are available. One session for adults over 21. Ages: 5-21.
