Texas Children's Hospital Free Heart Screenings for Teen Athletes

Championship Hearts Foundation and Texas Children’s Hospital will conduct free heart screenings for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), a potentially fatal genetic heart condition for teen athletes ages 14 to 18 on Saturday, Dec. 15 at Texas Children’s Hospital West Campus. Active students who participate in athletics, cheerleading, marching band, drill team or other strenuous sports are encouraged to get their heart screened for HCM. The screening process will take approximately 20 minutes per student. Sign up online at www.champhearts.org.
