Bear Hugs from Katy Magazine
The Katy Magazine ‘Pooh’ made many visits to community events this past season including the Rice Harvest Festival and an event for the Katy area Primrose Schools. If you would like to bring bear hugs to children by having Pooh to
stop by your community wide event, let us know and we’ll check his calendar! This is a free service provided by Katy Magazine. Email editor@katymagazine.com.
Katy Police Department Open House
The public is invited to attend the Katy Police Department’s Annual Holiday Open House on Friday, December 16, 2005 from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM. The Katy Police Department is located at 5456 Franz Road, Katy, TX. This is a great
opportunity to meet the Katy police officers, city employees, and neighbors while enjoying a free lunch. It is an exciting time for the Katy Police Department since they will soon begin the build out of their new facility.
CHRUSTUS Expansion Continues
CHRISTUS St. Catherine Hospital has designated $50 million for expansion to meet Katy’s growing needs and will offer a bevy of new health care services. The expansion will be completed by winter of 2006, and will increase the
hospital’s outpatient services, including radiology, emergency services and a full-service cardiology program. An additional 175,000 square feet will be dedicated to expanding inpatient beds and women’s services.
